Kate Eltham, the brilliant new director of the Brisbane Writers’ Festival, has commissioned a story from me for the subscription-only e-journal Review of Australian Fiction. Since I was writing for a literary magazine, the little man (which is the way my unconscious manifests itself/himself) decided it would be a great idea to write a romance about a practically immortal talking beagle, a telepathic albino, and, of course, zombies.
The story will also be published in slightly different form in Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine.
I’ll post when the stories are published or about to be published.
