Hooboy, am I behind…

I’ve been remiss with keeping my website up-to-date. I hadn’t even mentioned that Dreaming in the Dark won the World Fantasy Award in the anthology category.  In fact, I’m so far behind with website postings that I don’t quite know where to start. So…I’ll just start today…

I’ve just sold a story entitled “The Last Maskil” to the Holy C. O. W. Anthology — Stories from the Center of the World. This is a collection of short Speculative stories centering in and around the Middle East edited by D. Avraham and Allan Deyan-Shapiro.

As D. Avraham writes:

Here is the almost final list of stories and authors (in no particular order):

“The Last Maskil by Jack Dann, “Mother” by Vered Tochterman, “The Starlings and Whales” by Day Al-Mohamed, “The Anzu Protocol by Brian Trent, “The Gilga-mess by Alex Shvartsman, “The Ten Commandments” by Mike Resnick, “The In-Between” by Amanda McCutcheon, “Isthmus” by Gary Partington Terry, “Demigods in Time” by Emad El-Din Aysha, “Day of Atonement” by Scott Huggins “Virtual Jerusalem” by Allan Dyen-Shapiro, “The Assassin” by Guy Hasson, “Crowdsourced” by David Hoenig, and “The Caliph’s Dilemma” by Thomas Canfield

The publication date is June.

More as it occurs…and as I, er, remember.

Cheers!

What’s been happening…

As usual, I’ve been remiss in posting to my website. Mea culpa! A lot has been going on, including recovering from my recent PhD. The latest bit of news is that I’ve got copies of my new Holocaust collection Concentration in hand.

Concentration compressed

Here’s the skinny on the new book (which was officially published in 2016):
